🔍 Critical Notes

Their strict medical screening—excluding those on antidepressants or with mental health issues like schizophrenia—shows a commitment to safety, though exceptions are vague and could lack clarity for potential guests. However, the limited third-party feedback (mostly on their site and Reddit) raises transparency concerns, and their shift from jungle to beach venues (noted in 2021 Reddit posts) isn’t well-documented, potentially confusing attendees expecting a jungle setting. The legal status of ayahuasca in Mexico remains a gray area—while culturally accepted, it’s not explicitly legal, posing risks if authorities intervene. Potential guests should confirm current venue details, integration support, and legal considerations directly with Bluestone to ensure alignment with expectations, especially given the high emotional stakes of ayahuasca work.

Let me start by saying the ceremonies were absolutely incredible. The facilitators really know what they’re doing, and I felt completely safe throughout the experience. The setting? Breathtaking. The medicine? Powerful.

Now, for the downside—some logistical hiccups. A bit more structure in the daily schedule would have helped, and there were a few moments where I wasn’t quite sure what was happening next. Nothing major, but it did make certain parts of the retreat feel a little disorganized.

Would I come back? 100%. Just be ready to embrace a bit of unpredictability along the way

Bluestone is a special place, and I had an overall wonderful experience. The ceremonies were conducted with professionalism and respect for the tradition, and the facilitators were clearly experienced and caring. The setting was beautiful, adding to the overall sense of peace.

That said, I think a little more attention to organization and scheduling would make the experience even better. At times, communication felt unclear, and some aspects of the retreat felt a little unstructured.

Still, I highly recommend this place. If you’re looking for deep healing and can go with the flow, you’ll find what you’re looking for here.

I had high hopes for Bluestone, and while parts of the experience were great, there were also some issues. The ceremonies themselves were powerful, and I appreciated the facilitators’ knowledge and presence. However, I felt that some aspects of the retreat were not as well-organized as they could have been.

For the price, I expected a bit more in terms of structure and communication. At times, I felt like I was left figuring things out on my own. While I did gain valuable insights from the experience, I believe there’s room for improvement in making participants feel more informed and supported outside of the ceremonies.

Absolutely life-changing. The facilitators are deeply knowledgeable, the setting is stunning, and the entire experience was handled with so much care and respect. I felt safe, supported, and guided through one of the most profound journeys of my life. If you’re looking for a serious, well-run retreat, this is it.

From start to finish, Bluestone Ayahuasca provided an experience that was beyond anything I could have imagined. The team here is exceptional—not only do they hold space with integrity and wisdom, but they also make sure every participant feels personally supported.

The ceremonies were beautifully conducted, with music, guidance, and an atmosphere that fostered deep transformation. I never felt rushed or pressured, and the integration support was invaluable. The location itself is stunning, adding to the overall sense of peace and connection.

This isn’t just a retreat—it’s a sacred space for true healing. I left with a profound sense of clarity and gratitude. I highly recommend Bluestone to anyone serious about this work.
