🔍 Critical Notes
Powerful, Spiritual, Transformative
Evolutionary Shamanism invites you to experience deeply spiritual and profoundly transformative ceremonies using the sacred medicine, Ayahuasca. This medicine, used for thousands of years in the Amazon, can be used to treat a wide variety of energetic, emotional, and physical problems and can lead to the same levels of realization as described in Eastern paths of Mysticism.
O U RÂ Â W O R K
We hold a multi-traditional approach to medicine work. While most shamans work with plant spirits, we work primarily with Deities. This adds a higher, purer energy to the space, which participants can experience as a field of love, the embrace of the Divine. Calling on allies, Gods, Goddesses, ancestors, and helpers from the plant and spirit realms, these beings empower, heal, and liberate the spirit.
We begin every ceremony with Puja, a ritual invocation of the Divine. These divine energies permeate the space and are easily seen, felt, and recognised by participants. These beings go on to infuse the ayahuasca space itself, allowing a realm of intense healing to manifest.
When travelling in the inter-dimensional realms, it is necessary to have an experienced and knowledgable guide. Safety is paramount when dealing with the unseen. In our ceremony, we offer an unprecedented degree of spiritual and energetic protection, based on over 20 years training in the world’s wisdom traditions.
W H YÂ Â N O W ?
We are in a precarious position at this stage of human evolution with the potential to destroy our selves unless we make a quantum leap. This transformation needs to be done as soon as possible, and retreats are the fastest way to impowered liberation at this time.
Join us for a deep, powerfully serious, yet playful exploration of consciousness and its vast potential utilizing a variety of practices drawn from the world’s wisdom traditions based in ancient knowledge with an eye towards the future.
PREPARATION
Enquiry is vital to all true growth, deeply, into the nature of ourselves. As is inner peace, which comes through learning to settle the mind, folding it back upon itself…so anything we find helpful in that arena is good.
We encourage having or starting a meditation practice. Use a Metta practice to send love, care and compassion to all beings. Practice yoga to keep the body soft and open. Remove as much technology as possible, and spend more time in nature and self reflection.

CEREMONY
Ceremonies are held in a safe, secure environment and are kept small and intimate to ensure maximum attention to all participants.
Ceremony is conducted in noble silence, apart from the shaman who sings, chants, and prays throughout the night, calling on his tutelary spirits to heal and bless the participants.
Participants can expect a variety of effects, which vary from person to person, and depend on a number of conditions, including one’s emotional psychic and spiritual health, personal metabolism, time of the month, and more.
The experience can range from strong physical purging of unwanted energies and encounters with the dark, difficult aspects of our psyche onto ecstatic visions of otherworldly temples and vast heavenly vistas. One can feel deep physical emotional energetic and spiritual purging and healing. One may see visions, laugh cry or experience a profound inner stillness.
The experience is not necessarily easy or hard, but rather a necessary event in the evolution of the soul. No matter the experience, in these ceremonies, participants feel fully supported, held, and protected. Whatever occurs is always for the highest good.
Immediately following the ceremony, we’ll have some grounding, tea, fruit, Q+A and then rest.
In the days, weeks and months that follow, integration is a key component in order to stabilise, crystallize and energize the insights and revelations we derive from ceremony, and to give import and meaning to our lives through continual revelation.
“Ayahuasca is liquid evolution.
Come when you feel the call.”
Reviews
I attended Tantraya Center with the hope of experiencing profound inner healing and transformation. The retreat’s setting is striking—a natural haven where the energy of the land immediately puts you in a contemplative state. The ceremonies were raw and intense, stirring emotions and insights that I hadn’t accessed in years. The facilitators’ commitment to a no-nonsense, authentic approach made the journey feel both challenging and real.
However, I did notice that the integration sessions sometimes felt too generic. In moments of intense vulnerability, I craved more one-on-one guidance to help me unpack the powerful revelations. Also, while the overall vibe is intentionally minimalistic, a few additional touches of comfort in the communal spaces would have made a difference after long days of emotional work.
Overall, the healing was undeniable, and I walked away with a clearer vision of who I am. Tantraya Center is a great option if you’re ready to engage in deep work—just be prepared for a process that may not always feel tailored to your individual needs.
My experience at Tantraya Center was undeniably profound. The retreat’s natural, earthy setting is beautiful—an inviting, tranquil space that lets you leave the chaos of everyday life behind. I went in seeking a way to break free from chronic stress and emotional blockages, and the ceremonies provided moments of intense clarity that truly resonated with me.
That said, there were a few rough edges. While the ceremonies themselves were powerful, I sometimes felt that the transition between sessions was too abrupt. There were moments when I wished for a little more time for personal reflection before moving on to the next phase. Additionally, while the communal areas had an authentic, rustic charm, they occasionally felt a bit under-maintained. The group integration sessions were helpful, yet I longed for more individualized follow-up during particularly heavy moments.
Despite these minor issues, I left with valuable insights and a renewed sense of inner balance. If you’re willing to navigate a few organizational quirks in exchange for deep, authentic healing, Tantraya Center is definitely worth experiencing.
I arrived at Tantraya Center after years of feeling spiritually adrift, desperate for an experience that could truly reset my inner world. From the moment I stepped onto the grounds, the energy here enveloped me like a warm, healing embrace. Nestled amid lush, tropical surroundings, the retreat exudes a serene, almost otherworldly vibe that instantly quiets your mind and invites deep introspection.
The ceremonies were nothing short of life-changing. I experienced moments of cathartic release, where buried emotions and long-held fears were laid bare in a safe, sacred space. The facilitators, with their blend of ancient tantric wisdom and modern empathy, guided us through each session with a genuine warmth that made even the most intense moments feel manageable. One evening, under a sky full of stars, I experienced an emotional breakthrough that felt like my entire being was being recharged with light and purpose.
The integration sessions were intimate and thoughtfully led, allowing us to share our stories and support one another in ways that felt incredibly personal. I left Tantraya Center with a renewed sense of self, practical tools for ongoing healing, and a deep gratitude for the journey I underwent. If you’re ready for a profound, transformative experience that reconnects you with your inner truth, this retreat is an absolute sanctuary.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first booked my stay at Tantraya Center, but what I encountered completely surpassed all my expectations. The retreat’s setting is breathtaking—imagine waking up to the sound of nature in full bloom and feeling the gentle pulse of life all around you. It’s a place that forces you to slow down and truly get in touch with your heart.
The ceremonies were intense and raw, yet handled with a compassionate touch that never made me feel overwhelmed. I experienced a series of emotional breakthroughs that led me to understand parts of my past I’d long locked away. The facilitators are genuinely caring and seem to have a natural gift for holding space, guiding you through the process without ever imposing or rushing you. The integration sessions were a highlight—sharing in small, honest groups helped me feel supported and less alone in my struggles.
I left Tantraya with a lightness in my heart and a fresh perspective on life. This isn’t just a retreat; it’s a journey back to yourself. For anyone seeking to heal deeply and reconnect with the very essence of who they are, Tantraya Center is a transformative experience that you won’t soon forget.
I went to Tantraya Center expecting a transformative experience, and while the ceremonies themselves were powerful, my overall journey left me with mixed feelings. The retreat is set in a stunning natural environment that immediately encourages introspection and grounding. I experienced moments of raw emotional release and vivid insight that hinted at the potential for profound healing.
However, I also encountered significant inconsistencies. The scheduling of ceremonies sometimes felt haphazard, leaving me uncertain about what to expect next. The facilitators, though skilled, occasionally seemed too focused on group dynamics, which left me feeling a bit isolated during my most vulnerable moments. Additionally, while the communal meals and rustic accommodations aligned with the retreat’s ethos, they lacked a level of comfort that I would have appreciated during such an intense process.
In the end, the medicine is undoubtedly potent, but the lack of consistent, personalized integration left me with a sense that the experience wasn’t fully realized. If you’re open to an intense, unpredictable journey and can handle some organizational gaps, you might gain valuable insights—but for me, the experience was a mixed ride.
