Reviews
I was skeptical when I first heard about Sound of Light Sacred Medicine Circle, but from the minute I arrived, I knew this place was something else. Tucked away in a beautifully natural setting, every detail—from the gentle murmur of the forest to the thoughtfully arranged ceremony space—spoke to the power of genuine healing.
The ceremonies were intense in the best way possible. I vividly remember a moment when I felt like the whole universe was speaking directly to me, unraveling layers of old hurt and inviting me to start fresh. The facilitators were on point, providing real support without ever being pushy. The integration sessions felt like heartfelt group therapy where every shared story added to my journey of self-discovery. I left with deep insights and a renewed sense of connection to myself. If you’re ready for a soul-awakening experience that’s raw and unfiltered, this retreat will blow your mind.
I found that sometimes the pacing of the ceremonies felt a bit uneven—there were instances where I wished for more time to process my emotions before moving on. Additionally, while the communal integration sessions were valuable, I felt that a few more one-on-one moments would have enhanced my ability to truly digest what I experienced. Despite these quirks, the overall journey was deeply healing, and I walked away with a stronger sense of self. If you’re up for a raw, profound experience and can handle a few quirks, this retreat is worth it.
I arrived at Sound of Light with a heart heavy from years of personal struggles and a mind longing for clarity. From the moment I stepped into their serene space, I was struck by the palpable energy—a warm embrace of nature and intentional healing. The ceremonies here are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. In one unforgettable session under a sky shimmering with stars, I felt layers of old pain peel away as if I were being reborn.
The facilitators were genuine and empathetic, guiding us with gentle, yet firm wisdom. Their approach wasn’t overly scripted; it allowed each of us to experience our journey in our own time. The integration circles that followed were deeply personal and helped me solidify the breakthroughs I’d had. I left Sound of Light with a new sense of purpose, clarity, and a heart that felt lighter than it had in years. This retreat truly is a sanctuary for those ready to embrace healing at its most raw and transformative.
I went to Sound of Light with high hopes for a breakthrough after years of feeling emotionally adrift, and while I did have moments of profound healing, my overall experience was uneven. The retreat’s natural surroundings are undeniably inspiring—a quiet, earthy setting that invites deep introspection. The ceremonies themselves were potent, and I did experience flashes of clarity and deep emotional release that were life-changing.
However, I found the experience somewhat inconsistent. There were times when the facilitators seemed engaged and supportive, and other times when I felt a bit left on my own during particularly intense moments. The integration process was hit-or-miss; while some group sessions were very supportive, others felt rushed and impersonal. Additionally, certain amenities—like communal spaces and meal variety—didn’t quite live up to my expectations for a place that markets itself as a holistic healing sanctuary.
In short, the medicine is undeniably powerful, and if you’re in it for the deep, transformative work, there’s plenty to gain. But be prepared for an experience that may not be fully polished, with moments of brilliance interspersed with organizational and support gaps.
I came to Sound of Light after a long period of emotional stagnation, eager to find a way to break free from old patterns. The retreat’s setting is both rugged and beautiful, providing a natural canvas that amplifies the healing energy during the ceremonies. The facilitators are clearly experienced and create a container for deep work. I had moments of intense emotional release and clarity that made me feel like I was finally shedding layers of past trauma.
