We’re in the gated community of Hacienda Pinilla. Beautiful Langosta Beach is nearby and shuttled excursions are included with your stay. Downtown Tamarindo is a 10-minute cab ride.
Fly into Liberia airport (airport code LIR). There are direct flights from a number of major cities in the U.S., such as Los Angeles (LAX) and New York (JFK). The resort is a 1.5 hour ride from the airport and shuttle rides are available.

Night One: Introduction to Plant Medicine
At Rythmia, your initiation begins on Monday evening in the Maloka, our ceremonial space, meticulously prepared to foster a sense of sanctuary and care. This evening marks your initial encounter with ayahuasca, which will work as a diagnostic tool, gently introducing you to the ineffable experiences that await you over the coming days. The primordial intelligence of plant medicine scans your body and soul, focusing on what needs to be worked on and surfacing and reflecting these insights back to you. It’s establishing “what you need.”
This particular evening is designed to provide insights into who you have become, setting the stage for the deeper work of the following nights with the guiding intentions to “show me who I’ve become, heal my heart, merge me back with my soul at all costs.”
This first night’s ceremony allows you to embark on this profound exploration, supported by the careful guidance of the shaman and the vigilant care of the medicine team, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for your initial inner voyage.
Night Two: Going Deeper
On Tuesday evening, you will be guided further into the Rythmia Way as the medicine continues to cleanse your cells of any energies that no longer align with your path ahead and the healing journey you need to undertake.
This second night of ceremony presents an opportunity to delve deeper into your emotional and spiritual obstacles as the medicine continues to unveil and release them, often surfacing profound new insights and understandings.
Tonight, the music may awaken new understandings within you, leading to a stronger connection with your inner rhythms and every inhale and exhale. Allow yourself to be carried by the waves of healing energy coursing through your body, expanding your awareness, uncovering more profound layers of insight, and connecting you even closer to your heart.
As old patterns dissolve and clarity emerges, you’ll find yourself more attuned to the three guiding intentions. You may feel challenged, invigorated, awakened, and humbled all at once. This process is the medicine doing her work, and it’s all part of the preparation to go even deeper on night three.
Night Three: Divine Feminine
Wednesday evening’s ceremony celebrates the divine feminine and connects deeper to the spirit of Mother Ayahuasca. Led by our female shaman, this night is a call to journey into the womb of healing, learning from the cradle of darkness, and experiencing a rebirth.
During this special journey, you are invited to embrace the nurturing darkness and surrender to the intuitive depths of the divine feminine.
The Divine Feminine embodies the nurturing, intuitive, and transformative aspects of creation. She represents the cyclical rhythms of life, death, and rebirth, much like the phases of the moon that wax and wane in the evening sky. The moon, with its ever-changing phases, mirrors the cycles of our own inner worlds, reminding us that transformation is a natural and inevitable process.
The spirit of Mother Ayahuasca teaches us that rebirth often requires surrender, and the divine feminine shows us how to do so with courage and grace.
Night Four: Celestial Party
Night Four marks your homecoming, a celestial celebration and the deepest work you’ll do all week, culminating the insights and transformation of all previous ceremonies.
Tonight is the night of Yagé, a traditional preparation of the medicine from the Colombian tradition, renowned for its potent spiritual and healing properties. This concentrated drop of nature links you to the profound depths of the spiritual realm, allowing you to synthesize the teachings you’ve received during the week and heal on a fundamental level.
This all-night ceremony is a celestial celebration, where you will be immersed in an atmosphere of music, healing, and sacred blessings. Under the guidance of our experienced shamans, you will journey through the night, supported by the rhythms and songs that honor the Colombian tradition.
As dawn approaches, guests often emerge with a renewed understanding and direction, feeling a sense of belonging and purpose. Many report a sense of their souls and hearts being united as they step into a new chapter of life, guided by their highest intentions.
