Classes and daytime sessions aim to support and inform the work in ceremony and create a deeper connection to the energetic realms of the plants. YOUR STAY
Only an hour from the Liberia International Airport (LIR), Reunion is located on Playa Pan de Azúcar (Sugar Beach) on the Northern Pacific Coast of Guanacaste. Reunion is only a few steps from the beach in one of the world’s five Blue Zones (the Nicoya Peninsula).
Blue Zones are regarded as areas that have the highest number of centenarians — people living the longest and healthiest. Blue Zones are known for their biodiversity, high levels of oxygen, healthy food, and strong sense of community with purpose.
At Reunion, we believe that the land we steward is unique. For many, this environment induces a sense of serenity, safety and nourishment. We share almost 40 acres of tropical forest with monkeys, motmots, iguanas, tree sloths, and a bevy of other indigenous fauna.
The sights, sounds, and smells of this tropical ocean-side sanctuary wash over you like a soothing balm of tranquility. Whether spending time fireside, swimming in the ocean, or exploring the forest, you will feel cradled by nature.
We acknowledge the indigenous Chorotega people as the original stewards of Sugar Beach. Our vow is to continue to protect this land and live in harmony with nature through regenerative practices.

We sustain a culture of dedication and co-creation working alongside each other in a service-oriented nature. We do so for the sake of helping our Guests to do their healing. Our mission is people oriented, not profit driven which allows our focus to be centered on the Guest experience and not on revenue generation.
We are an organization of individuals who have experienced the transformative benefits of Ayahuasca and have come together in a heartfelt community to serve. Our caring Contributors include everyone involved at Reunion, from our Facilitators to our Volunteers and Department Staff. Each of us is here to support you in your experience.
NOT-FOR-PROFIT
Reunion has been created as a registered, third-party verified not-for-profit organization. This allows us to focus on our Guest experience, create positive impact on the planet, and operate in harmony with the natural world without the focus on profit.
As one of the few not-for-profit Ayahuasca retreat centers, all earnings and donations go directly into the organization and its operations. Any revenue above operating costs goes towards reciprocity. Great effort is put into sustaining our land, facilities, contributors (staff), community programs, and scholarships.
As part of our efforts to give back, we’ve created:
Continued accessibility to Ayahuasca is one of Reunion’s core initiatives. These programs help to ensure the ongoing availability of Ayahuasca and reduce the barriers which may inhibit one’s opportunity to experience the transformative power of this sacred plant. We have also established a fund to support Indigenous Elders as a means of reciprocity. Funds go directly to the Indigenous Elders’ initiatives back on their native lands.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All our Guest rooms are located just steps from the Pacific Ocean and the warm sands of Playa Pan de Azúcar (Sugar Beach).
Intentionally designed to bring the Costa Rican feeling to life and harness the healing powers of Mother Nature, our rooms offer an abundance of natural light and fresh air, making the room your sanctuary. Rooms are comfortably adorned with natural furnishings to harmonize with the beautiful outdoors, and feature thoughtfully curated, organic bathroom amenities to encourage restoration.
QUEEN ROOM | SINGLE OR DOUBLE OCCUPANCY
Your 300 sq. ft room features two Queen-sized beds, a porch with outdoor seating, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Designed to harmonize with their surroundings, Reunion rooms feature natural wood furnishings, cotton linens, comfortable mattresses and pillows, and an earthy color palette intended to bring the outdoors in.
