WHO WE ARE

Our mission is to provide holistic healing, recovery and integration programs that help people re-connect with nature and conserve the rainforest. We do this through our partnerships with organizations that develop holistic health and recovery programs, and rainforest conservation projects.

Our sanctuary is located on the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica.We are seated above one of the cleanest rivers left on earth, Rio Naranjo, and are surrounded by over 7,500 acres of rainforest that our partners and founders, Eco Era, have protected since 1991.

Our team is comprised of leaders in the fields of holistic healthcare, spiritual practice, environmental conservation and social services. We engage in reciprocity to indigenous cultures, particularly the Kamensta region of Colombia from where our plant medicine practices originate. We also support veterans, first responders and Wildland firefighters. 

​

Posada Natura is an expansive, multi-faceted space, integrated into nature and deeply supportive to people of many backgrounds and needs. Our space provides a container to connect people to the rejuvenating power of an ancient rainforest, and wholesome healing experiences. We strive to create harmonious balance between humans and earth through sustainable practices, conservation and connection to nature.

RAINFOREST CONSERVATION

Posada Natura is managed by Eco Era, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that protects thousands of acres of primary rainforest located just behind our retreat center in the Cerro Nara Mountains of Costa Rica.

 

Our proceeds go directly to Eco Era and all of our programs incorporate nature immersion experiences into Eco Era’s rainforest. We believe healing happens by connecting to and protecting nature. 

Rainforest Conservation

In 1991 Eco Era was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to protect the 7,500 acres of the Cerro Nara Watershed in Costa Rica. Eco Era’s mission is to protect virgin rainforests by stewarding land conservation while bringing people into an emotional re-connection with nature. 

 

Cerro Nara is located in the Puntarenas region of Costa Rica’s Central Pacific Coast. Eco Era was created to protect biodiversity and endangered species by ensuring that critical habitat is preserved in a pristine state and to educate people about the importance of protecting the earth to ensure a sustainable future for all beings.

 

This land is home to one of the purest watersheds left on earth, in one of the most bio-diverse critical habitat regions in the world. The rainforest is a major contributor to the regulation of climate change and mitigator of global carbon emissions. Our current global environmental crisis demands that our rainforests be protected to ensue a future for life on earth.

We support Eco Era by hosting their programs and funding their organization through the profits of our events. All of our programs integrate connection to nature through direct immersion and educational experiences in Eco Era’s rainforest.
