🔍 Critical Notes
Retreats start every Sunday and Wednesday. You may stay for as many weeks/months as you would like. If you are curious about ayahuasca and/or master plant diets, a week (ayahuasca only) and 11 days (ayahuasca and diet) will introduce you to the beauty of Amazonian plant medicine. Our center is more of a revolving door with patients staying for different lengths of time for their specific issues rather than organized large groups. Since plant diets require deep introspection and time spent with yourself, groupings of people don’t play as big of a role here at our center.
-
Master plant diets are given to those staying for 11 days or longer
-
Phone interview must be conducted before final booking
-
Guests are encouraged to arrive in Iquitos the night before their retreat starts
Ceremonies are at 7:30 pm every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Breakfast (8:00 am) and lunch (12:00 pm) are served everyday.
Dinner is served at 6:00 pm every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Plant diets and other Medicines/therapies are typically served at 4:00 pm when needed.

Food
When you are dieting a plant(s) or tree(s), you are making a commitment to opening yourself to the intelligence that lies beyond your normal perception of reality. Thus, it is important to keep the body in a neutral state. We provide nourishing meals three times a day and twice a day when ceremonies are taking place. The food provided is nutritious. However, we abstain from using any salt, spices, fats, oils, dairy, and sugar. We provide guests with chicken, fish, eggs, rice, potatoes, vegetables, legumes, oatmeal, some fruits and plantains. If you are interested in dieting with the traditional dry Shipibo diet, it will be more difficult but provide a deeper connection to your plant(s) that can be made available. If you have dietary restrictions or want to eat the dry Shipibo diet, please inform Tony so he can relay that information to the kitchen.
Reviews
There’s no denying the potency of the experiences here—each ritual is designed to bring forth hidden truths and evoke deep emotional responses. I encountered moments of raw, unfiltered healing that opened my eyes to aspects of myself I’d long ignored. The communal sharing was a bright spot, creating an atmosphere of support and mutual understanding. However, the process sometimes felt uneven; the shift from intense ceremony to group discussion wasn’t always smooth, and I occasionally found myself struggling to keep up with the pace of the revelations. With a bit more consistency in the integration phase, the journey could have been even more profound. Nevertheless, I emerged with valuable insights and a deeper awareness of my inner world, determined to build on the progress I made during my stay.
In a setting where nature and gentle ritual merge seamlessly, my time here felt like a deep, soulful voyage. I experienced ceremonies that unlocked layers of emotion and helped me rediscover parts of myself I had long hidden away. One evening, as soft candlelight mingled with the soothing sounds of nature, I found that every moment became an invitation to release old wounds and embrace new beginnings. The environment felt both sacred and inviting—a true haven for inner renewal. In intimate sharing circles, every story was met with warmth and genuine support, which helped stitch together the fragments of my past into a coherent tapestry of healing. I now carry a renewed sense of purpose and clarity, as if a long-dormant inner light has been rekindled. This journey was not just an escape but a true transformation that continues to guide my everyday life.
I entered the retreat with high hopes of deep, life-changing healing, and while I did experience flashes of intense emotional clarity, the overall process left me with a sense of incompleteness. The environment is undeniably beautiful—a lush, serene setting that promises introspection and release. Some rituals unlocked powerful insights and stirred emotions that felt truly transformative, but the follow-up integration sometimes seemed rushed or impersonal. I often struggled to reconcile the intense bursts of revelation with the less structured support afterward, leaving me with lingering questions. For those who are highly self-motivated and capable of processing their own insights, there may be considerable value here. For me, however, the journey felt fragmented—a series of potent sparks that never fully coalesced into a lasting transformation.
My experience at the retreat was undeniably intense—ceremonies here have the power to peel away the layers of emotional armor you’ve built over the years. I found myself confronting both long-suppressed pain and unexpected reservoirs of strength. The natural surroundings and sincere guidance created an atmosphere that was raw and moving. That said, I sometimes felt that the transitions between high-energy rituals and the reflective integration sessions were a bit hurried. I often wished for more individualized moments to truly anchor the powerful insights I was gaining. Still, the overall journey provided significant breakthroughs that have reshaped how I view my past and my potential for the future. Despite the occasional rough patch, I left with a newfound clarity and a commitment to continue my healing process.
I never expected to leave this retreat feeling so utterly renewed. The experience here was like stepping into a realm where ancient wisdom gently touches every part of your being. Each ritual unfolded at its own pace, offering moments of intense catharsis that reawakened my spirit. I was struck by the sincere care and attention that flowed naturally among the group—every sharing session felt like an authentic, unfiltered conversation with kindred souls. One memorable session allowed me to face painful memories head-on, yet the tender guidance of the facilitators helped me transform that pain into a powerful lesson in resilience. The collective energy fostered an environment of true connection, and I now move forward with a heart full of hope and a deeper understanding of myself. This encounter with healing was both transformative and deeply personal—a gift I will cherish for years to come.
