Reviews
I attended Earth’s Song Sanctuary Costa Rica hoping to reconnect with my inner self and break free from years of emotional stagnation. The natural surroundings are stunning—the retreat is set in an environment that is both wild and nurturing, where every sound and sight invites you to slow down and reflect. The ceremonies were powerful and genuinely intense, sparking emotional breakthroughs that made me reexamine my life.
However, I did notice a few shortcomings. The communal aspects, such as group integration circles, often felt impersonal; I would have appreciated a bit more individualized attention to fully process the intense emotions that surfaced during the ceremonies. Also, the range of activities seemed somewhat limited—while the core experience was transformative, a few more creative workshops or reflective exercises would have enhanced the overall journey. Despite these drawbacks, the healing I experienced was undeniable. I left with new perspectives and a more open heart, even if some parts felt a bit too standardized for my taste.
I arrived at Earth’s Song Sanctuary Costa Rica feeling completely overwhelmed by years of personal struggles, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I stepped into the lush, vibrant surroundings, the retreat immediately enveloped me in an energy that felt both healing and sacred. The natural landscape—dense tropical foliage, the sound of distant waterfalls, and a gentle ocean breeze—created a serene backdrop that helped me disconnect from the chaos of everyday life.
I can’t express how much my time at Earth’s Song Sanctuary Costa Rica has changed my life. I arrived skeptical but desperate for a breakthrough, and the retreat’s raw, natural beauty immediately swept me off my feet. The setting is pure paradise—a harmonious blend of jungle, beach, and open skies that puts you in touch with nature’s powerful energy.
The ayahuasca ceremonies were intense and deeply cathartic. I experienced moments where everything from old regrets to long-suppressed joys came rushing up in vivid clarity. The compassionate facilitators made sure we felt safe, guiding us through each ceremony with gentle firmness. I was particularly moved by the integration sessions, where heartfelt conversations with fellow participants helped me weave the insights into everyday practice. I left with a sense of renewal, inner peace, and the courage to embrace a more authentic version of myself. If you’re ready for a raw, transformative journey, this is the place to be
I went to Earth’s Song Sanctuary Costa Rica with high expectations for deep emotional healing, and while there were moments of true breakthrough, my overall experience was uneven. The retreat is set in a gorgeous, natural environment that immediately instills a sense of calm and wonder. The ceremonies delivered potent medicine that opened up a flood of emotions and insights, some of which were truly life-changing.
However, I struggled with the integration process. I often felt that the follow-up support was lacking—group sessions were good for general sharing but didn’t always address my specific needs during vulnerable moments. There were times when I felt isolated in processing the intense revelations. Additionally, I found that certain practical aspects, like the variety of communal meals and the upkeep of some common areas, left room for improvement. While the retreat has undeniable healing power, the gaps in personalized support left me with mixed emotions about the overall experience. If you’re willing to brave some organizational shortcomings for the sake of potent healing, you might gain valuable insights—but for me, it was a bit too inconsistent.
My experience at Earth’s Song Sanctuary was a profound journey into my inner world. The retreat’s setting in Costa Rica is absolutely breathtaking—surrounded by lush greenery and the gentle murmur of nature, it sets the perfect mood for introspection. The ceremonies were intense, and I encountered powerful emotional releases that helped me face past traumas head-on.
That said, a few practical issues slightly marred the overall experience. While the healing work was deep, I sometimes felt that the integration sessions were too brief, leaving me wishing for more time with a facilitator for one-on-one support. Additionally, while the accommodations were charming and eco-friendly, they could use a bit more comfort during rainy nights, as the facilities felt somewhat outdated in certain areas. Still, the overall impact was significant—I left with valuable insights and a renewed sense of self. For anyone willing to navigate these minor inconveniences in exchange for deep healing, this retreat is a strong choice.
